What's it called Now?

Privacy

Today the site holds nothing about you. Your streak and points live in your own browser and never leave it. There is no sign-in, no tracking and no cookie beyond what the hosting needs to serve pages. The only aggregate figures are Vercel's own page counts.

If you send a submission, the text you typed, the handle you chose and the date go into the review queue, which is a GitHub issue in the site's repository. Nothing else is recorded about you.

Lawful basis

Your consent at sign-in for the profile, scores and submissions; legitimate interest for abuse prevention.

Deleting your account

One button on your profile. It anonymises approved questions, deletes your answers, submissions and profile, then deletes the sign-in record.

Where the data will live

A database in the London region, so the data, the sign-in service and any stored files stay in the UK.

What is not here

No analytics beyond the host's aggregate counts, no advertising, no passwords ever.

Questions about any of this: use the Submit page until the community address is live.
