28 release families, newest first, then the season and month names ServiceNow used before Aspen. Each page lists the renames that landed in that release, with links to the entries.

How the names work

Release families followed the alphabet, one city per letter, from Aspen in 2012 to Zurich, which ServiceNow said completed the first cycle. Source
After Zurich came Australia and then Brazil: the Brazil release notes cover upgrades from Australia, Zurich and Yokohama. Source
Each family has an early availability phase before general availability. For Zurich that was 31 July 2025, then general availability on 10 September 2025. Source

Before 2011 ServiceNow named major releases by season and year: Spring, Fall and Winter, each followed by monthly stable releases. Source
In March 2011 ServiceNow said the next major release would be called June 2011, followed by October 2011 and February 2012, because seasons differ around the world and months do not. Source
No official page found on the change from month names to city names. Aspen is the first city-named family.
